Tito Ortiz needs a sense of humor

Tito Ortiz is a joke in UFC. Seriously, the guy should come to the ring in a jester’s outfit on a unicycle juggling little rubber balls and carrying a liter of seltzer water. Ortiz has dropped three straight fights, and yet, he remains with UFC, and fighters like Keith Jardine have to fight Boxcar Joe to get a meal.

When he headlines a PPV he should put up collateral. This guy also pulls out more then I did my freshman year of college. Except he has a better success rate since his potential opponents don’t serve him with papers a year later demanding a DNA test (what, lots of puerto rican women birth ginger babies!). After complaining that he needed to get back surgery, Ortiz pulled out of his fight with Chuck Liddell as the trainers for “The Ultimate Fighter.” So from one clown to another, Ortiz, of all people, should appreciate the surprisingly sharp wit of Matt “Meathead” Mitrione. Meathead is becoming a surprising star in UFC after looking just so-so on the Heavyweights season of “The Ultimate Fighter.” But Ortiz lives in a fantasy land where people still think he’s tough because he pummeled an over-the-hill Ken Shamrock a hundred years ago to huge buy-rates on PPV.

Ortiz is “scheduled” to face Ryan Bader at UCF 132 on July 2, 2011. Matt Mitrione rightly called out Ortiz for pulling a Houdini everytime its fight night. Of course, “Mr. Sensitive” got offended by these keen observations.

Their beef started when Mitrione appeared on ‘The MMA Hour’ in March. “Meathead” suggested Ortiz would likely pull out of his UFC 132 scrap against Ryan Bader and have girlfriend Jenna Jameson step in for him.

“We all know that Tito is going to give some type of excuse and back out, so Jenna is gonna have to step in and fight Bader for Tito’s honor,” Mitrione stated. “But Bader, be really carefully because this is a trap fight. We all know that she’s awesome off her back and that she’s got phenomenal top control, but remember that she doesn’t choke easily.”

Jameson has a set of twin boys with Ortiz. She retired from the adult entertainment industry in 2008.

So of course Ortiz then tried to pull the high school fight/non-fight bullshit, can’t wait to see him try this with Ryan Bader:
